We need to make them stop

Shakilus Townsend, Damilola Taylor, Lil Zack and many more have lost their lives due to gun & knife crime, WHY do people? TEENAGERS! think its okay to end someone life? 2007 was the year where 'gun & knife crime' really HIT areas in London, suddenly teens had that idea that they ruled certain areas, Canning town vs Stratford or Brixton vs Peckham, Teens are now adapting into being in gangs, some are being influenced and peer pressured into killing their own generation just to feel that sense of belonging 'Influenced and peer pressured' 
''Daniel Daniel come Daniel you know its cold outside have you got your jacket on, Daniel your hat you can't forget that!''
''Mum im doing it'' 
''Daniel don't give me that look you know i love you''
''And i love you too Mum, but i really have to go, i'll see you when i come back''

Hours later, mum is pacing up and down, trying to find out where Daniel is, he aint answering her call, its 7pm now, Daniel finished school at 3pm why isn't he at home? Should she call the police? Nah she thinks he is just out with some friends, he just lost track of time, his phone is probably at the bottom of his bag, he will come home soon he is fine. HE IS" 
That one phone call that one ring and her life is changed forever,

She drops the phone, she can't deal with this pain, yelling Screaming SHOUTING thats all she can do really, her son gone, her pride & joy, her baby boy, HER SON IS GONE, and thats because of YOU, you killed him, you made a mother lose their son, you broke apart a family, this is all down to you, and you think it is all ok right? Because he don't live in the same area as you, or you don't like him, or your 'bedirn' has 'beef' with him, so you think its ok to kill him? Because thats going to solve everything right? You killing eachother will solve everything? 
I want everyone reading this to think, someone they love someone they adore, someone they can't live without, maybe it be your auntie, your dad, mum, uncle, sister even your DOG! was one day SNATCHED away from brutally, without any last words, any last goodbyes, nothing just gone. JUST LIKE THAT. Gone, how would that make you feel? Huh tell me? How would you feel? HOW! 
We need to make this stop, we need to open these teenagers eyes, most importantly we need to open their hearts.


I am Daniel Smith 
Today i was stabbed to death by a gang of boys, who told me i was on the wrong 'ends' 12 of them, rushed and stabbed me to my death, as i felt myself slowly getting weaker, i was calling out for my mum, i wanted my mum, i just wanted to say BYE to her, to tell her i loved her before i took my last EVER breath.
I am sorry my life was cut of short, and i am sorry i can't dry your tears i love you mum.
